Terms of Service

These terms describe your use of Knoobi, provided by Alexandre Nussbaumer, Switzerland. By using Knoobi, you agree to these terms. Questions can be sent to alexnsbmr@gmail.com.

1. A study companion

Knoobi turns material you select into study quizzes and uses your answers to guide future practice. No Knoobi account is required. Use the app in accordance with applicable law, your school's rules, and these terms. If you are not old enough to agree to these terms yourself, involve your parent or legal guardian.

2. Your material and generated questions

You retain your rights in material you provide. You are responsible for having permission to use and submit it, including any personal information or copyrighted course material it contains. You permit us and our service providers to process it as needed to generate and deliver your quizzes, save your study sets, and provide the features you use, as explained in the Privacy Policy.

Generated questions and explanations can be incomplete or wrong. Compare important answers with your original material and authoritative sources. Knoobi does not guarantee grades, exam results, complete topic coverage, or permanent retention of what you learn. It is not a substitute for professional medical, legal, financial, or other specialist advice.

3. Knoobi Plus subscriptions

Knoobi includes a free first study experience. Optional Knoobi Plus subscriptions unlock the paid features shown in the app, including ongoing personalized practice, reviews, and additional study sets. Available plans renew weekly or yearly. The localized price, billing period, and included benefits are displayed before you confirm a purchase with Apple.

Payment is charged to your Apple Account when you confirm the purchase. Subscriptions renew automatically unless canceled at least 24 hours before the current period ends. Apple may charge for renewal within the 24 hours before the period ends. No free trial is promised; any introductory offer applies only if explicitly shown and you are eligible.

Manage or cancel through iPhone Settings → your name → Subscriptions → Knoobi. Cancellation normally stops the next renewal while access continues for the remaining paid period. Deleting the app or its learning data does not cancel a subscription. Restore eligible purchases using Settings → Restore purchases in Knoobi.

Apple handles payment and refund requests under its policies and applicable consumer law. See Apple's cancellation instructions and request a refund from Apple. Prices and availability can vary by country. Any price change is subject to Apple's notice and consent procedures and applicable law.

4. Responsible use

Do not use Knoobi to submit unlawful content, violate others' privacy or intellectual-property rights, bypass access controls, abuse generation services, or interfere with the app. Do not use automated requests to resell or exploit the service. Reasonable technical and abuse-prevention limits may apply. Your subscription does not grant ownership of the app, its mascot, artwork, or branding.

5. Availability and data

Quiz generation needs an internet connection and depends on external services. Import quality depends on the document and readable text; protected files may not be supported. iCloud sync depends on Apple services, settings, and available storage. Keep copies of important source material. We cannot guarantee uninterrupted service or perfect synchronization.

We may update the app and its features or suspend abusive use. If a material change affects a paid service, we will provide notice and any remedies required by law. These terms do not remove rights you have for services already purchased.

6. Apple license and your legal rights

The app is licensed under Apple's Standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement. These service terms supplement that license and do not replace mandatory App Store or consumer protections.

To the extent permitted by law, Knoobi is provided as available without a guarantee of error-free operation or specific learning results. Nothing in these terms excludes a warranty, remedy, or liability that cannot lawfully be excluded, including your mandatory consumer rights. No exclusive foreign court or mandatory arbitration requirement is imposed by these terms.

7. Changes and contact

We may revise these terms as the service changes. The effective date will be updated, and material changes will be notified where required. You can stop using Knoobi at any time; cancel any active subscription separately through Apple. For help, visit Knoobi Support or email alexnsbmr@gmail.com.
